More good news... followed by more waiting

One more post (if you'll indulge us) on my wife's progress as she continues the fight against breast cancer.

Yesterday, we received more great news (this on top of the news we received earlier in the week) when we learned that my bride's BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic testing results were negative.

Now her tumor will be sliced and diced (literally) and tested to see whether or not chemotherapy is in her future.  This test is called the Oncotype DX Test and we're hoping for a Recurrence Score low enough to forego the chemo.  We won't know for two weeks.

So the bottom line is that we continue to win battles in this war but more battles lie ahead.

Which means we continue to covet your prayers.
