Linda Fox

I cannot agree. Only one time did I vote for the 3rd party candidate - John Anderson, in 1980. A lot of use, usually Democrats, found ourselves disagreeing with Carter for various reasons. As a result, Reagan, a candidate that I did NOT want to win, did.

Think of the practical implications - Trump is likely to mobilize many Reagan-type Democrats - his supporters are red-hot in enthusiasm. Hillary, on the other hand, is likely to lose many of the Sanders supporters, and those who do vote for her are more lukewarm about her. The likely outcome will be for Trump to win, by default.
