It's disappointing to see that you don't give Sarah the benefit of the doubt. Do you really think she literally means the sacrament and is not using the word baptism in the general sense?

You are acting politically correct, and you really should consider if that's the direction you want to go in.


Elizabeth Scalia has weighed in on this and I consider it a must read... I consider her book Strange Gods, Unmasking the Idols of Everyday Life to be the same, the latter I think explaining why the former is such a problem.

Read them both.
