Clinton

The power to regulate, like the power to tax, is also the power to
destroy. This nation is increasingly looking like a banana republic,
where a little guy (like Morningland Dairy) hasn't a chance against
anonymous bureaucrats randomly enforcing a bewildering array of
often contradictory regulations. I guarantee that ANY business
could be shut down by a determined official-- it is impossible to
meet every one of the thousands of regs that spring up each year.

And why do I get the feeling that if truth be known, the full force
of the government's regulatory pimp hand in this case came at
the instigation (and per$ua$ion) of one of Morningland's bigger
and better-funded competitors?
