Grateful for that statement! I started several years ago issuing a "church" marriage certificate to newly weds in addition to the state one. Now I can ponder removing myself/ourselves totally from the state sanction issue. Hadn't really considered it before, but will now, even without the gay marriage thing. Thanks or the link.
