Is he sincere? Is it genuine? Is there remorse? Here's an excerpt aimed at the clerk:
"Rachel, I am so very sorry for the way I spoke to you on Wednesday. You handled my frustrating rant with such dignity and composure. Every time I watch the video I'm blown away by, really the beauty in what you did, in your kindness and your patience with me.
You should know that I never planned to say the things I said to you that day, and how I said them. I planned to peacefully participate in the August 1st YouTube post where Jackson Pearce asked people to simply order a large water to show support for the gay community.
But when I got to your window, after seeing all the people in and outside the restaurant that came to support Chick-fil-A, I lost it. I just lost it. I couldn't believe the number of people came out to support a corporation that associates themselves with anti-gay groups, like Exodus International and the American Family Association.
And how did I lose it? By making you listen to my frustration and disgust. It wasn't right, and for that I am so sorry."
Here's the video of the apology and more from the man:
Thoughts?

I couldn't believe the number of people came out to support a corporation that associates themselves with anti-gay groups, like Exodus International and the American Family Association."
So....he decided to dish out some of his own personal indignation and self righteous hatred on an innocent Chick fil-A employee. And Whoa! and behold!
It backfired on him the same way the called for boycott of Chick fil-A backfired on him and all his homosexual buddies bent on demonstrating their own hate and disdain for anyone who disagrees with their deviance..
Speaking for myself, my local franchise was literally slammed all day. I was there at 12:30 along side hundreds and I spent an enjoyable twenty minutes waiting to be served. The first time in memory that i have ever enjoyed standing in a line.
As of Adam Smith and the indignant homosexual left? I say let them go off to themselves to kiss their wounds as I certainly believe that they were served a lesson by mainstream Americans that will long be remembered and repeated when necessary.

I don't have 8 minutes to waste watching his "apology." The only reason he's bothering to publicly air it at all is because his rude arrogance cost him his own job. Well, at least he "felt purposeful" for a minute or two in his pathetic life.

It's not our job to determine if he's sincere or not. He's apologized, it's time for forgiveness. The man got punished pretty severely; there's no need to keep on him now.

He has successfully doubled down on his douche-bagginess. His apology was all about him. He should have been able to distill all of that screed down into 4 or five sentences about the distress she was caused. But no. His last sentence above demonstrates he still doesn't get it. The protest was not about him, but the "apology" is.

This guy simply enjoys hearing himself talk. That's all there is to it...in both videos.

If Mr. Smith really wanted to apologize to the young lady he
treated so badly, he could have had his apology relayed to her
through her workplace. I suspect that this videotaped 'apology'
isn't meant for her as much as it is for him. Is he trying to
apologize his way back into his old job? Is he just in love with the
sound of his own voice? Is he trying to persuade us that he's
not quite as much of a d-bag as he seems to be?
