Curiousity's Seven Minutes of Terror

Check this out.  They pull this off in the middle of the night on August 6th, and it's gonna be seriously fantastic.

Let's hope they do... and let's hope, as the video references at the end, that they'll continue to dare mighty things.

NASA can do cool things. We just need NASA to do more cool things.

I hope and pray that it all works according to plan. Seems the airbags of Opportunity and Spirit were much more simple and less prone to failure. Still, they've done complexity like this before. I think it will work out.
