Cancer takes, destroys, changes and impacts lives and tragically, does so daily.
Live long enough and you'll know this.
I've come to really hate cancer, despise it really.
I think it sux.
If you've personally dealt with this dreaded disease, either directly or through the suffering of a loved one, that sentiment likely resonates and loudly.
With those thoughts as background, I want to fill folks in on what I found last night over at Our Sunday Visitor and though I was certainly struck by the entire piece, I was particlularly moved by this one line:
"We forgive because bearing grudges is a cancer in our soul."
Cancer in the flesh is bad enough but cancer in the soul? I don't want to have to deal with that. I just don't. I suspect you wouldn't either.
Consider doing yourself a huge favor in the fight to abolish cancer, every kind of cancer.
Read this piece. Pass it on.
Cancer does indeed suck but there's a cure for this one that's foolproof.
