A little more than two weeks ago, I shared the story of Fr. Everett Hemann, a Catholic priest diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer:
“I’m dying. But we’re all dying.”
“I’ve had a very good life. And based on that experience I trust the next few months will be the same. It’s going to be a good experience rather than something terribly difficult or negative. Long ago I learned that if you focuson the negative that is what will be emphasized.”
Deacon Greg brings us the news of Fr. Hemann's passing along with a video of his final interview, in essence, his last homily. Do check it out.
I think there's much there to learn from.
So much.

Just a great presentation and so refreshing to view. Reminded of the old pastor that shouted from the platform, "As you have lived ... so you shall die!"
The good Parson obviously lived well.
