Hope and change... for his daughters but not necessarily his country:
President Obama believes that Republican leadership of the country would ruin the United States as a land of opportunity, but he's (justifiably) confident that his daughters will have plenty of opportunities, no matter what.
"Our kids are going to be fine," Obama told supporters at a campaign event last night. "And I always tell Malia and Sasha, look, you guys, I don't worry about you . . . they’re on a path that is going to be successful, even if the country as a whole is not successful. But that’s not our vision of America. I don't want an America where my kids are living behind walls and gates, and can’t feel a part of a country that is giving everybody a shot."
Well then Mr. President... why don't you go ahead and resign so that we can get a jumpstart on that vision?
Please.

After reading that? I am seriously thinking: "how can the American people not see this man as the elitist interloper that he truly is?" From his wife's jaunts around the world on endless vacations and dinner outings with friends to five start restaurants etc. To his golfing etc. Their arrogance concerning the misery of the American people is palpable.
He is clearly vocalizing his opinion here, which is, I don't really care what happens to America, my kids will do just fine.
What kind of a man, what kind of a president voices sentiments like that?

So as long as his children are on the path to success - and are not burdened with a child (remember when he said that?) - then all will be well.
Please - oh please let the American voter see this charlatan for what he is and kick his sorry butt out of this country's house.

My reading skills must have declined, because I can't make sense of that sentence. "...can't feel a part of a country that is giving everybody a shot" What does he mean by that?
