A Congresswoman who along with her Democrat colleagues failed to pass a budget while she and her cronies held sway in the House, the Senate and the White House, now laments that she can't do without her paycheck... this on the cusp of a government shutdown that will cause many Americans to do that very thing.
Galling.
The woman makes $174,000 a year... up from approximately $154,000 since her election to Congress in 2003.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck with that kind of money, perhaps you should stop living above your means. Oh wait, then if you knew how to do that, perhaps you could've passed a freakin' budget...you idiot.

At least is nice they’ve moved passed the “all the elderly are gonn’a die” and my favorite - “The children, THE CHILDREN!!!”
Well, welcome to the real world Toots, this is what you and the rest of your cohorts have created, an America in dept up to our eyeballs, the deficit a staggering 4 trillion and unemployment still hovering @ 9%. You reap what you sow, Madam.
Don’t want to hear your bellyaching, many of us out in the real world have gone without a paycheck many times over the last couple years. So shut it. (Here’s a hint - savings account, get one).
BTW, looks like she could skip a few meals.

Single mother of a son. Making $174,000 a year and can't make ends meet. All that maintaining two residences I guess. Wait a minute, "we the people" are paying for that. It's part of your "congressional stipend" sweetness.
So I guess all those flights back and forth are denting the pocketbook huh. Wait a minute! We pay for those too. Along with your 'congressional staff on two coasts and your travel expenses and other 'allowances.'
So you still can't make it on 174K?
Get a life! You moron! You obviously haven't missed any meals. And aside from that, you are living proof of the rumor that some men will mate with cows.
