Unless you've lived in a cave, you're aware of the Navy Seals due to be court-martialed for allegedly punching the mastermind behind the 2004 killing of Blackwater contractors in Fallujah Iraq.
2 of the 3 Seals were arraigned today in nearby Norfolk:
Two Navy SEALS have been arraigned in a military court in Virginia for allegedly mistreating an Iraqi detainee.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe is accused of hitting the detainee in the stomach, dereliction of duty and lying to investigators.
McCabe deferred entering a plea until his trial, which was set for Jan. 19.
Petty Officer 1st Class Julio Huertas pleaded not guilty to charges of dereliction of duty, lying to investigators and impeding an investigation. His trial was set for Jan. 11.
The military says a third Navy SEAL, Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe, will be arraigned later on charges of dereliction and lying.
If those proceedings aren't stupid enough, perhaps this one will grab your attention:
Should an American soldier be imprisoned for killing a known Al-Qaeda operative in self-defense? Most Americans, I suspect, would answer that question with a vehement, “No!” — or, in some cases, “Hell, no!” Unfortunately for Army Ranger 1st Lt. Michael Behenna and those who love him, seven Americans thought otherwise.
Yesterday, I shared a post about Lieutenant Behenna’s story (See 101st Airborne Officer Serving 20-Year Sentence After Testimony of Expert Witness Ignored). Among the many details in that post, I described Ali Mansur as “a known Al-Qaeda operative” killed in self-defense by the lieutenant, then 25. Today, I offer more disturbing substantiation of that description of Mansur.
I don't know where it is that this country is headed, what with terrorists being granted every civil right by trying them in civil court and with members of our military being tried for doing what historically the military is sworn to do but I can tell you I don't like it.
At some point, America stands up and states unequivocally that enough is enough.
I'll venture to say given these news items, interestingly enough not being covered widely by our 'objective' MSM, that clearly we've reached that point.

WTF IS WRONG WITH US!?!

You said it.

I believe you are wrong.
If Americans are not willing to stand up and demand that enough is enough over what is happening to these Seals, Americans won't until each and every one of us gets bitten and bitten hard and that isn't going to happen until so much damage is done to our beloved country that we aren't going to be able to recover.
This makes me sick. Just sick. I can't believe we are doing this to our military men. They don't deserve this and now it is getting to the point that we don't deserve them.
Heartbreaking.
And yeah, I DID write my representative for whatever good that did.
