Quite honestly, that's a funny picture. She put herself out there in that sleazy dress. I'm not surprised that both Obama and Sarkozy are staring. Of course, it would have been better if they were more dignified, but I can't find it in my heart to criticize.
After all, Obama's punishment will come at Michelle's will after she sees that photo.

Sleazy dress? That sounds slightly catty. It’s a dress, what exactly is so “sleazy” about it? This type of debate brings out the old argument of woman “deserving” cat calls, whistles, sexual harassment and the big one –rape. Woman should be bale to dress any way they feel comfortable without men using it as an excuse for boorish behavior, or worse, especially men like Pres. Obama (I’ll leave out Sarkozy since he’s French and all that and he doesn't represent my country).
Besides, let’s for the sake of argument agree that it is “sleazy”, so what. That doesn’t give a man in Pres. Obama position to gawk in such an undignified way, which you also state and I agree with.
I’m not surprised either that they stared, but it is disappointing that our president doesn’t feel that the position he holds doesn’t require more self restraint, discretion or class. But then I don’t believe Pres. Obama has any of those characteristics anyways.

It's sleazy. It's designed and made to catch one's eye and make one wonder . . . It is designed exactly to elicit the reaction we see in that photo. That's sleaze in my book. I've seen those dresses in person. Males of my acquaintance and family think they're off.
Listen, young girls should have some fun in their lives, but modesty is still a virtue. To have the fun without calling attention to one's less savory "bits" (apologies to the Monty Python troupe) for attention is possible.
