I don’t get this whole velvet glove treatment. I’m hoping it’s a rope-a-dope for when the hearings happen they will pounce on her obvious disqualifications. I know, I know… dream on tim, dream on…

Yes, we must all live in our dreams for now because nobody has the glandular testosterone to do anything about this clown in office and his clown troupe of appointees.
And people wonder why Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter and Liz Cheney are popular.

Everyone had better get use to it, because she is going to be your next Supreme Court justice. And you can count on it. The republicans are rolling faster than a crocodile on a chicken stick.

She's going in, period. And her decision-making would probably be better for the country, than Souter's. To me, the real battle to be fought here is: How badly is the democrat party to be besmirched, with their own inherent racism? Is "I would hope a wise Latina woman would make better decisions than a white male who hasn't lived that life" emblematic of what most liberals feel inside (even the white male ones), and is this the occasion on which most Americans start to see them that way?
So let the floor vote commence. Republicans are supposed to be the anti-filibuster party anyway. Just don't vote yes. When asked why, simply explain you're opposed to racism in all forms.
I'd pay money to see that.
