Had a luncheon with members of my team today at a nearby Mexican place and of course, there were televisions there and a number of them were tuned in to the spelling bee.
Watching a spelling bee isn't the usual fare for the fellers when we have our luncheons at Plaza Azteca but at times we were actually pretty spellbound.
One word that came up was Omphaloskepsis. The speller went through the normal gyrations in the attempt to figure out how the word is spelled and I remember that the definition had something to do with navel gazing during meditation.
No... really... it did.
And so I thought we should come up with a definition of a similar sounding (and similarly spelled) word.
Obamaskepsis.

Not to be confused with Obamaskepticsis; a phenomenon observed when others attempt to break the meditative gazing of the liberal in order to introduce objectivity.

Obamaskepsis- the inability to think rationally or critically while listening to certain political orators (e.g. Hitler, Mussolini et. al.) Often accompanied by a tingling in the leg.
