This is beginning to cause some unease:
North Korea appears to be preparing to fire short-range missiles on its west coast, a day after it tested a nuclear device and missiles in the east, a South Korean source said Tuesday.
The country has banned ships from the waters off its west coast and could launch what appears to be "KN-01" anti-ship cruise missiles either Tuesday or Wednesday, the source said.
"The ban on sailing is in effect from May 25 to 27," the source said. "It's likely that North Korea will fire short-range missiles either today or tomorrow."
On Monday, North Korea fired three short-range missiles on its east coast hours after it announced it "successfully" conducted its second atomic test to boost the might of its nuclear weapons.North Korea performed its first nuclear test in October 2006.
KN-01 missiles, upgraded from Silkworms, have an estimated range of up to 160 kilometers.
The western waters remain a flashpoint for the two Koreas that are technically at war after the 1950-53 Korean War ended in a truce rather than a peace treaty.
I'm confident our President will be able to talk these guys out of any nefarious intentions.
Aren't you?
And speaking of nefarious intentions:
Venezuela and Bolivia are supplying Iran with uranium for its nuclear program, according to a secret Israeli government report obtained Monday by The Associated Press.
The two South American countries are known to have close ties with Iran, but this is the first allegation that they are involved in the development of Iran's nuclear program, considered a strategic threat by Israel.
"There are reports that Venezuela supplies Iran with uranium for its nuclear program," the Foreign Ministry document states, referring to previous Israeli intelligence conclusions. It added, "Bolivia also supplies uranium to Iran."
The report concludes that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is trying to undermine the United States by supporting Iran.
Interesting that two of Bush's axis of evil cohorts (Iran and North Korea) are doing some acting up now that Obama's in office.
Can you say emboldened?

Maybe they'll keep rattling the cage until our president gets ticked off... he's certainly proven himself capable of retaliation...
He keeps "reaching out his hand" and they just keep slapping him in the face for it. He might get fed up? His ego might get tired of them making him look like a wimp?
Here's hoping.
Right now the one that is very sobering to me is Janet Napolitano... for some reason she reminds me of Janet Reno. Had to try and demonstrate home-land strength so she went in and slaughtered the men, women and children of the Branch Davidian compound. Napolitano seems to be wanting to flex her muscles here at home... except on the borders.

And they will continue to do so, until we have our first mushroom clouds over America. That is coming. Bin Ladin promised us and American Hiroshima and Obama is just what he has been waiting for to help him make good on those promises.
