Whoever said Leathernecks were rather brutish were absolutely correct...
but they're not fools.

Take notice of the rather tepid response?
No shite Sherlock!
No, the Marines are not rather brutish, but they know Shite from shinola when they see it.
And they know a poser when they see one.

Can't see the video, but I'm assuming it's Marines vs. The One.
As far as I know, the Marines will probably do the bare minimum. Why should they do any more? This fake CinC is going to be putting their lives on the line without a clue.

The way our military have responded to George Bush over his 8 years in office speaks volumes about him. And the way they respond to Barack Obama speaks volumes about him.

Exactly right Dan.
Especially when considering which one sent them into battle and the other wanted to retreat.
Whoever in the Obama administration thought that going to Camp Lejeune would be a good PR move vastly underestimated the negative feelings amongst the Leathernecks. Besides, Marines aren’t too fond of gaseous pontificating and can spot a bullsh*ter from a mile away.
I wonder how many of those Marines in attendance lost ‘brothers’ in a war that if Pres. Obama had he’s way they would’ve died in vain and left in disgrace and humiliation.
For him to try and use them as a prop in his speech to announce the removal of troops in a war he wanted us to lose, is an insult to say the very least. What exactly did he expect, wild cheering?
This is a perfect example of just how clueless Liberals are when it comes to the military.
The C in C who is responsible for the victory that is Iraq today got and deserved the Marines applause and gratitude.

OK, I had to blog it today as a result of yesterday's announcement about denouncing our war wounded.
