I want to believe this is satire. I do. It simply can't be for real:
Printed in a size that easily fits into pocket or purse, this book is an anthology of quotations borrowed from Barack Obama's speeches and writings. POCKET OBAMA serves as a reminder of the amazing power of oratory and the remarkable ability of this man to move people with his words. His superb and captivating oratory style has earned comparisons to John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, and this historic collection presents words that catapulted his remarkable rise to the American Presidency. It is an unofficial requirement for every citizen to own, to read, and to carry this book at all times.
The little blue book includes themes of democracy, politics, war, terrorism, race, community, jurisprudence, faith, personal responsibility, national identity, and above all, his hoped-for vision of a new America. POCKET OBAMA is a portable, everyday primer for readers who want to examine the substance of his thought and reflect on the next great chapter in the American story.
Those of you with little pocket New Testaments should take note... there's a New New Testament, and it's captivating the country, especially that part of this once great nation overrun by Religious Leftists, secular progressives and other assorted fruits and nuts.
Get your New New Testament, the Pocket Obama, now. Hope and change your life today.
H/T Kate.
UPDATE: Michelle thinks it might just be a gag:
If it’s a joke, it’s a darned good one. And so is another Obama-related item the History Company is selling: “The Egg of Power.” This schlocky thing goes for $100.

Marx had Mein Kampf.
Mao had his little red boo.
Why not follow in the footsteps of the greats?

It's going to be a loooong four years. Sigh. I pray that it is only four years.

We might start our own little book of BO quotes. I'll go first:
(my personal favorite)
1. "...Yea... go ahead and get your diggs in..." (while flipping Hillary off in front of approving thousands.)
2. "Enough is ENOUGH!!!" (after some dared question the wisdom of flipping off a major presidential candidate in front of approving thousands.)

It was written with politically correct whites in mind so they can mindlessly eschew Obama's "wisdom." Blacks could care less about his teachings since it is enough for them that one of their own is in the White House. None that I have asked have any clue as to his political agenda. They just believe it is payback time and the government will take care of all their needs. Socialism enjoys a resurgence.

"It is an unofficial requirement for every citizen to own, to read, and to carry this book at all times."
Yea, and Chairman Mao had a book of his saying that everyone was required to have, read and carry at all times.

My pockets are empty right now, so they are already overflowing with Obama's wisdom. There'd be no room for a book.

Too much hope'n'change, Matteo. Too much hope'n'change.

I'm ready to vote:
GAG.
It's making the rounds on the innerwebs, right now, when it's "out of stock." Color me skeptical.
"Gag" is not just a vote, it's also a reflex...
Can someone please get the </i> entered?
Here, let me try it...
TEST.
