Heh, in my case it's just a meaningless ritual.

But the flip-side to that is, if I'm going to take the time, anyone living in the other states definitely should.

There's a flip-side to this disaster, as well. Before the 20th of January, it was impossible to tell for sure if The Holy One was pro-bailout or anti-bailout. What's gone unnoticed is that He has been forced to climb down from that fence, and is now firmly a pro-bailout figurehead; sufficiently tethered to it, that as it loses its luster, so does He.

He can't call the whole thing FaPoBuAd (Failed Policies of the Bush Administration) anymore.

I sent emails to both of mine yesterday.

Tell Chuckie Schumer to vote against his god's stimulus package? I don't think so.

On the other hand, Gillenbrand (Hillary's replacement) already voted against it, and is likely to do so again.

Well, I definetely will because objections should be put on the record, but the senators looking out for my state are Stebenow and Levin. 100% of our formerly Great State of Michigan could register strong opposition and both would still vote a resounding yes in support of the God-in-Chief. The Real God help us all!
