Orange you glad you're not a member of Obama's family?
Over the weekend, the Associated Press reported that Barack Obama’s
beloved Aunti Zeituni Onyango — a Boston public housing resident — was
an illegal alien deportation fugitive who was ordered to leave the
country by an immigration judge four years ago. Despite her illegal
absconder status, she not only obtained federal housing benefits, but
also illegally contributed to Obama’s campaign. Obama denies knowing
about her illegal status and has promised to return her donations.
And now, Obama has gone and completely thrown Aunti under the bus — joining Obama’s poor grandmother. Via 24ahead, Obama was asked by Katie Couric if he supported the deportation of Onyango:
If she is violating laws those laws have to be obeyed.
We’re a nation of laws. Obviously that doesn’t lessen my concern for
her, I haven’t been able to be in touch with her. But I’m a strong
believer you have to obey the law.
If he were telling the truth, I’d applaud him — and the Left would condemn him as a jack-booted racist.
But he’s lying — and all his cultists knows it.
Setting aside Michelle's focus on Obama's lies and the illegal status of his aunt. Just put yourself in any member of Obama's family's shoes.
His grandmother is simply a typical white person. His step-brother lives in a Kenyan slum while Obama preaches about caring for the least of these. And now his aunt is described as someone who should be treated like any other illegal immigrant.
Amazing.
And yet... and yet... the Religious Left continue to give the man a pass:
As modern people, we speak of justice in punitive ways, but the Biblical
sense of justice is centered in the idea that all people will eat well,
all people will live well. This is the type of country I desire, the
type of justice I desire. I am voting for Barack Obama because he
shares that value. He has not asked me to put anything before my faith.
He has simply asked that people believe in their ability to make a
difference in their country, wherever they may be starting. I start in
my faith, and hope that the images of peace that I see in the Bible
where people live in harmony may become more real under a Obama
presidency. Whether my neighbor shares my faith or not, I know that
many share a hope for a better America where the dignity of each
individual is lifted up before the “rights” of corporate America. Come
January, I look forward to working with Obama and all of the United
States to make this hope come true.
That from yet another clergy member for Obama... or, more descriptively, another idiot. Yes... idiot.
How else can you give the man the accolades being given when the facts suggest something altogether different?
Idiot is actually rather mild.
