McCain needed to attack. He didn't. At least not enough.
Obama needed to not mess up. He didn't. At least not enough.
Obama seemed to be consistently guilty of going over time. Brokaw was inept. McCain needed Palin there to show him how it's done.
I'm discouraged. I'm afraid the big mo (momentum) is on the side of the candidate least prepared to lead this country.
In my in-box this morning, someone mentioned readying the "Don't blame me, I voted for McCain" bumper stickers.
Sums things up.
For much more, go see The Anchoress who has more links than Obama has troubled associates... and that's a lot.
UPDATE: The comment of the moment by way of Matteo:
From a comment in the debate reactions thread at Ace Of Spades:
Sarah Palin: Space Shuttle
John McCain: Frozen O-ring
Yep.

The debate last night? Had that ring of the tin sound of the hubcap coming to rest at the curb after the big wreck.

So.
Your candidate the one you feel in your heart is the best person for the job is in fact found wanting in comparison to his inexperienced VP candidate?
So Palin should have been the GOP Presidential nominee? Is that what you're saying here?
