Barack Obama Admits: "I chose my friends carefully"

Barack Obama admitted that he was drawn to Marxists during his college days.
He wrote about it:

"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

And Steve Schippert, via e-mail, opines with wisdom:

My take is that the key qualifier is the phrase "to avoid being mistaken as a sellout." Choosing these, including Marxist professors, was meant to assure that he was the Real Deal. Thus, Marxist professors are the Real Deal.

Let's be sure not to mistake him for anything but a subscriber.

I understand that some can get very emotive at election times, however, as a Christian Brit I find it very difficult to understand why so many of your countrymen wish to vote for a man who supports acts such as this!
