I would like to thank the US media for doing such a grand job this last week of lowering expectations by portraying Governor Palin - whoops, I mean Hick-Burg Mayor Palin - as a hillbilly know-nothing permapregnant ditz, half of whose 27 kids are the spawn of a stump-toothed uncle who hasn't worked since he was an extra in Deliverance.
How's that narrative holding up, geniuses? Almost as good as your "devoted husband John Edwards" routine?

Any links to articles that have actually said that? You guys have made up the counter-narrative so you can oppose it. It's easier than having to defend her credentials.
BTW, I'd probably lay off the Edwards comments. At least he likes girls.

And hey mom--and I truly mean this with all sincerity--Rick knows how I defended him when someone called his employer--if that is where you work, please, please do not post stuff like that. You don't know who is reading or what they might do.
Rick, if that is where she works, would you please wipe that location quickly, maybe before the Google spiders get it?

Zossima, it is called "hyperbole." Look it up. Sometimes it makes people laugh. You ought to look that up, too.

Zossima...is going on record now...as saying that no articles have actually said that or anything like it. No left-wing comedians guffawing over McCain picking the redneck chickee. No smarmy comments over on DailyKos or DU. Zossima is chiseling his name into granite, under the statement that none of this effluence has ever swirled around the bowl, is not swirling now, and is not coming later.
Correct?
