Pfleger Pflogged and Pflung Pfar from his pulpit

Apparently the Chicago diocese has had enough of Michael Pfleger, at least for now.  The cardinal has suspended the controversial priest who called America the “greatest sin against God”, and who mocked Hillary Clinton from the pulpit last week:

CBS 2 News has learned that Francis Cardinal George is temporarily removing Father Michael Pfleger from his position as pastor of St. Sabina Roman Catholic Church on Chicago’s South Side.

CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine reports the move comes after several days of deliberation and consultation by the Cardinal, who first learned about Pfleger’s racially charged comments about Sen. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton from the pulpit of Trinity Unity Church of Christ last Thursday night.

The Cardinal immediately contacted Pfleger who agreed not to refer to the presidential candidates by name, but as CBS 2 reported at the time, there remained the possibility of some further disciplinary action against Pfleger.

Aww... that's so unfair... seeing that there are consequences for pflinging pfoolery from a pulpit.

And to such a nice Vanilla Ice wannabee.

The Chicago diocese and the cardinal, are a long way from having had enough of father Pfleger. Or doing much with him for that matter.

The cardinal's action, is equivalent to placing Pfleger in time out. Nothing more. I would say limbo, but Catholics have a separate interpretation for that word.

Pfleger's actions, were tantamount to watching a cross between a Baptist revivalist and a Lenny Bruce wanna be, attempting to impersonate James Brown in my opinion.

But his message was/is clear. There is a growing movement of black liberation theology present all across this nation. And not only blacks but many whites, see this as a means to attain national political power.

There is much about Barack Obama and his associates like the Rev. Wright and Father Pfleger, that hasn't reached the surface yet. As are his associations with ACORN and others in the radical left and what is known as the New Party. and how all of those associations, have come together, to propel Barack Obama to the main event.

The Chicago diocese, has done nothing, aside from sliding this errant priest over to a non conductive third rail for a few weeks. After which, he will be right back with his parish and probably kicking back in the rectory with a few belts of Irish whiskey and a few radical friends, laughing about all this.

Meanwhile, Pfleger's more sinister associations in radical left politics in Chicago, will resume their coalition of efforts, to have a social anarchist elected president of the United States.
