Heard moments ago on Rush, referenced by a listener who was beside himself wondering how in hell the following can be published in a national news magazine:
Anybody who believes the current Supreme Court looks like America needs to take a few more trips on a Greyhound bus. All the judges are white and/or old; most are both.
I guess all the judges are male too... and they're all left-handed... and they don't take baths... and they're gay...
Hey, I'm as correct as Ms. Lithwick on these things... you'll simply have to believe me.

Her ignorance is only exceeded by her poor attempts at witty repartee.
“If even one of these three justices were to retire, we could easily return to a world in which decisions about who is or isn't an enemy combatant are made with roughly the same sophistication that seventh-grade girls use to decide who's popular.”
She goes on to further prove her stupidity –
“And as a consequence, we find ourselves in a country where the rule of law is an occasional luxury”
Since she’s Canadian, maybe she’s confused about which country she’s actually talking about.
But we shouldn’t be surprised by someone who has been a guest columnist for the New York Times, was a regular guest on The Al Franken Show, and a guest on National Public Radio's newsmagazine.
Yes, Nesweek delves further into the sess pool of liberal freaks disguised as jounalist. Bravo.

Canadian, huh. That would explain the most mind-numbingly ignorant passage I found in the entire article:
What I wouldn't give for a pleasant (hopefully, to stay that way) dinner conversation with her, or someone from this planet. Is their idea of the "wall of separation" between judiciary & legislature, the same as mine? Do they even have one? Or are they so much into "pack every single panel that has any authority at all with good people like me" that they haven't even put that much thought into it?

IMO the Supreme Court, as it has evolved into an activist social legislative branch, now represents the greatest challenge to America. (Matter of opinion, the devolution of the Supreme Court is a good case study to disprove evolution!)
The lady quoted represents one more mad citizen who resents the rule of constitutional law.
She thinks that people who ride Greyhound Buses represent a cross sectional picture of America? Who rides Greyhound Buses? Not a thing in the world against people who ride Greyhound Buses, but whoever they are they are not cross sectional pictures of this nation.
