The UN atomic watchdog chief warned on Saturday that an attack on Iran over its controversial nuclear programme would turn the region into a fireball, as Tehran rejected an Israeli strike as "impossible."
Mohamed ElBaradei also warned that he would not be able to continue in his role as International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general should the Islamic republic be attacked.
His stark comments came as Iran stressed yet again that it will not negotiate with world powers over its nuclear programme if it is required to suspend its controversial uranium enrichment.
"A military strike (against Iran) would in my opinion be worse than anything else ... It would transform the Middle East region into a ball of fire," ElBaradei said in an interview with Al-Arabiya television.
Is it "Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire"? Or is it "Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!" Either way, the reaction by the UN and their supposed atomic watchdog agency and it's lead inspector are predictable to say the least.
Of course, there is no mention of worry or concern on the part of the UN, over the very real potentials of nuclear war, if Iran is allowed to continue it's mad pursuits and ultimately attacks Israel with nuclear weapons. That would be alright with everyone in the middle east and the majority of these supposed member nations of the UN. The UN has always been openly opposed and outright bigoted in it's rulings in opposition to anything concerning Israel or it's right to exist. While at the same time, supporting all things Palestinian Syrian, Lebanese, PLO and HAMAS.
The time has long since passed for the UN to actually act like the organization that it supposedly is. And to stop playing favorites and do the right thing. Or the middle east may very well become a ball of fire. And if it does, you can count on lions and tigers and bears entering into the fray with their own nuclear claws bared.

AM I THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD THAT KNOWS THAT "U N" IS THE BIGGIST SCAM EVER CONCEIVED.IN THE "MODERN WORLD"??
