This isn't a political campaign, it's a religious revival on the hysterical side.
Very effective for people who only think in cliches.

Being in deep dookey as you put it is nothing new for us. We conservatives have been there for a long time. The news media & the Hollywood elite have been able to say anything vile about us that they wanted to with no push back at all from us. We elect officals & sen them to Washington to defend us & they turn into cowards & bow down to the very people that trash us. Lies flow from the news media about the war in Iraq & how it is our fault that we are even there. They have been able to trash our people in uniform & with very few of our representatives standing up to these people. I could go on & on but I think you laready know what I am about to say. Deep dookey. If you just realized that is where you are welcome home. A lot of us have been here for a long time.

Oh yes. I want a safe world for my children and grandchildren also.
That is why I volunteered to go to Viet Nam in 1969. We confronted the spread of communism head on...we won.
In WWII we confronted the Nazi storm troopers and Japanese imperialists head on...we won.
Now we are faced with an ideologue of self loathing within our own ranks....we are calling ourselves...imperialistic...and being called imperialistic by many.
I don't know. There is a lot of American blood on a lot of foreign soil where those fortunate citizens now breath free. We died for their freedom. Our sons and our daughters died for their freedom. We have touched their American Flag draped coffins...with our tears...our broken hearts.
We have our military based over much of the free world today...to keep it free. We are there at our expense...yet we are imperialistic.
I don't know. I can still smell the warm blood of dying marines on my hands at night at times. I can still hear their dreams at night at times. They had dreams.
The great challenge we face today? It is not "over there"...it is here. Will we throw away...for a feel good moment...all the blood and sacrifice paid to buy us this moment of freedom?
Precious...priceless...sacrifice.

Excellent piece Morgan... and great observation with substantiation... hard to argue against it...
I looked at the Obama, Obama, Obama video again and I'm struck with the naiveté on display, whether it be the one hispanic gal who wishes the war (presumably in Iraq but probably all war) to be over... and it could be I guess if we adopt the surrendercrat strategies being pushed forth by Obama or the other young woman who is looking forward to Obama's presidency because he'd not be the President of 10% of us or of lobbyists or corporate America but of all of us... as if the current President is only that...
Somewhere I'd linked to a post that substantiates that much of the Democratic base is made up of the uneducated and ill-informed. This video, I think, gives more anecdotal evidence for that notion.

Typical "OBAMA" presentation. A whole lot of content with no substance.
