AP calls it early for Hillary
This will mean more tears on the campaign are sure to follow:
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton won New Hampshire's Democratic primary Tuesday night in a startling upset, defeating Sen. Barack Obama and resurrecting her bid for White House.
Well, I'm...er... gagging with emotion meself at the news.

Almost hard to believe after all the Obama hype, and I don't know if I trust the result to have meaning beyond NH, only because NH is an "open voting" state. Who knows who was in there voting, today, and from where?

Well, all in all that's good.
First of all, I've been convinced for a long time that if a donk must win the White House, Hillary will probably be relatively harmless because Obama and Edwards are far more committed to "peace." By which I mean, that sad failed old formula where we end war by means of that Jimmy Carter blame-America-first recipe. You know. We get rid of our weapons, put on sweaters and turn the thermostat down to 65, the bad guys will surely do the same.
Once she thought the polls told her to do so, I think a President Hillary might kill some terrorists.
Or Swiss. (chuckle)
But secondly, I do think Obama's stronger. I see a lot of scenarios where a Republican might be able to beat Hillary, but would have to be trampled by Obama. And a President Obama would really be able to define his mandate any way he wants to; said day-to-day definition surely spelling out bad things for our future.
Had a democrat at work talk to me about this primary today. He really liked my comment about "I think Obama would be the best candidate for you guys to put up." Made his day.
He was pretty adamant about rejecting my opinion of Obama, that Obama's positions on issues are so poorly defined as to be meaningless. He tried three times to give me examples of where Obama stands, and each time he ended up babbling something about "charisma."
Not that I think Hillary is any better defined. But I think that craven Clinton-style "govern by polls" leadership might leave The People somewhat in charge of the government, whereas in an Obama presidency the republic would pretty much be putty in Move On Dot Org's hands.

I cringe at any democrat inhabiting the White House. Obama is a tool, ready to be manipulated, even if he is a nice guy. And imagine Billy staining the White House again with his antics, let alone the attempt to throw us into Marxist heaven by his wife. I'm not so sure how amenable she would be to polls after a win - she might go all nuts and decide SHE'S GOT THE POWER!!!
