"That’s why Kennedy called his opponents traitors."
That gem and more from Don Surber:
Robert Kennedy Jr. is not subtle. The jet-setting “environmentalist” who opposes windmills in his back yard said during the Live Earth concerts:
“Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington, who are nothing more than corporate toadies. This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors.”
The irony of course is that without the corporate help of the NBC-Universal division of General Electric, there would have been no Live Earth.
Of course, the only reason Kennedy has any standing as an “environmentalist” is that his uncle was his families political connections. His uncle the senator and all that.
And of course, Live Aid was organized by zinc-mining, oil-well owning Al Gore, whose family has been steeped in Washingtonian politics for generations. His father’s connections to Armand Hammer of Occidental Petroleum helped build the family fortune.
Live Earth was based on the junk science assumption that driving an SUV is a sin against nature that will be punished by God scorching the Earth.
Beyond doubt.

I have so much more respect for the hardcore leftists who peel off with a casual "don't you question my patriotism" with regard to the War on Terror, but will leave this issue alone. At least that's consistency.
RFK2 shows us a whole new strain of leftist. The leftist who says you can't be guilty of treason, no matter what you say about America's moral position in the world...even the Ward Churchill brand who questions whether America "had it coming" on 9/11/01.
And then -- turns right around and says yes, it IS possible to be a traitor. If you don't have the right opinions on global warming.
That is pure cognitive dissonance, or snake-oil salesmanship, or perhaps both. Question: Does RFK2 stand alone, or are there others like him. I say, rivet this whole argument to the floor and don't let it budge an inch in any direction, until we get an answer to THAT.
It's important.
