A hearty welcome to all visiting from Michelle Malkin land. Please have a look around my humble abode.
Anne Jacobsen has been contacted and I'm hoping she'll be commenting soon here on current events so please check back often.
Her voice here is welcome. Hell, her voice should now be welcomed everywhere.
UPDATE: Ann writes me to say:
I am on the radio all day and TV (MSNBC Scarborough) tonight. I'll see what I can do.
UPDATE II: Welcome Anchoress readers to Plain Thoughts, Delivered Roughly. We're all hoping that Ann will soon have time to post some of her thoughts here so please check back when you can.
UPDATE III: Ann sends me the following in e-mail:
Of all the news coming out of London with regards to the thwarted terror plot, this I find the most disturbing:
"Among those arrested were a Muslim charity worker and a Heathrow Airport employee with an all-area access pass, according to Britain's Channel 4." (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/08/10/us.security/index.html)The Muslim "charity worker" I could have predicted. The Heathrow Airport "employee" with all area-access pass, well, that is downright frightening. The British should know better and we should know better.Consider these words, faxed from Osama Bin Laden to his friend Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, to the Sheikh's home in London:"Bring down their airlines. Prevent the safe passage of their ships. Occupy their embassies. Force the closure of their companies and their banks."-- Annie Jacobsen
WOR Morning Show with Ed Walsh & Donna Hanover in New York City at 6:10 am PT / 8:10 am ET
Glenn Beck on CNN Headline News at 4 pm PT / 7 am ET (Subject to cancellation)

I always believed Anne's account of her flight and shared her suspicions. But do you think that in light of recent events, perhaps the reason she got the brush off from the authorities was because they actually had their eyes on this plot all along, and didn't want to tip their hand to the terrorists until the time was right?
