Cindy Sheehan has been visiting Canada, promoting the New Democratic Party's idea of welcoming Americans dodging military duty in Iraq. Immigration Minister Monte Solberg has this to say:
Responding to Sheehan's pitch yesterday, Immigration Minister Monte Solberg told reporters: "If Mrs. Sheehan has a bone to pick with the U.S. administration about the war in Iraq she should take that to Washington. It'll be Canadians who decide Canadian immigration policy.
Doesn't sound like the Canadian government will be cheering for the dodgers this season.
