Redbeard

Excellent find! CBD.com has no listings for Robert Dick Wilson and Amazon.com says the book is out of print. Any chance you know where I can find a copy?

Nobeard

Dear soninlaw, if you go to netscape and search the book, the first choice is on PCA Historical Center and you can download most of the chapters and read them right there on you on personal computer. Also, that name redbeard offends me and you need to change it ya newb.

Semi-beard

Nick,

Nice kickoff to some years' study.

Be diligent and remember James 1 - "Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."

Patience, perseverance, and wisdom.

Rick

Somebody want to fill in the rest of us on all the beard monikers?

:)

Redbeard

Rick,

The "Redbeard" moniker came straight from Nick, even though it's more of a goatee.

Nobeard has no beard, or at least no beard worth mentioning. Clearly he is jealous. He has been known to make waitresses cry. I'm not sure why he feels the need to do that.

I can't speak for Semi-beard, but I do find it interesting that he mentioned James since that's the book I'm studying for a discipleship group.

Bravo on commending Robert Dick Wilson. You might be interested to know that we at Solid Ground Christian Books are bringing two of his most famous and helpful works back into print in one volume. "A Scientific Investigation of the Old Testament" and "Is the Higher Criticism Scholarly?" are set to appear together for the first time ever and for a remarkable price of just $12.95 (List Price will be $21.99).

Bill Robertson

Dear blogger you need to be more like Robert dick Wilson and understand that the nasb is a corrupt text based on only a few manuscripts you would be correct to use and believe the av 1611 and rightly divide the word of truth.
