Had to follow up on yesterday's post about Pfc. Rob Jacobs and his run in with hateful letters from indoctrinated and coerced Brooklyn middle school children.
I listened to Hannity today as I worked out. On the show was Jacob's father and a woman named Monique who identified herself as the mother of one of the letter writers.
I am now more convinced than ever that the teacher, Alex Kunhardt, is a bonafide moonbat with absolutely no shame:
Monique advised Sean and his other guest, PFC Jacobs’ father, that the original assignment had been for each student to write a letter to a “fictitious” soldier. Monique, also, said that the letters were “never intended to be mailed”. However, after the assignment had been completed by all the students, Kunhardt told them he wanted to mail them to PFC Jacobs and asked the students if any of them objected. Question: How many sixth grade students are out there who would disagree with their indoctrinator (or…”teacher”)? Not many, I’ll wager. Suffice it to say, Kunhardt’s students agreed. But, there’s even more. Kunhardt had, apparently and per Jacobs’ father, already sent a letter to PFC Jacobs asking him if he would “like to receive Holiday letters” from some of his students. PFC Jacobs wrote back saying that he welcomed them. The letters were, subsequently, sent. But, as we now know, they contained no “Holiday spirit”, whatsoever.
Monique attempted to paint this event as nothing more than her child (and the other children) exercising their 1st Amendment rights. And she arrogantly defended what took place although she begrudgingly admitted that the teacher used poor judgment in mailing the letters to Jacobs.
Yet this is much more than about simply making a mistake. This is about the willful use of children as weapons of massive deception by someone hellbent on demoralizing our front-line troops. He ought to be held accountable and he ought to make amends, something much more impacting than a simple I'm sorry.
I'd suggest that he invite some soldiers into his classroom or some Iraqis who voted for the first time in their lives a couple of weeks ago or hell, invite me... I'll give these kids a perspective I'm thinking they've not been exposed to recently...
... something needs to take place here to right this wrong... I'm not sure at this point what that might be but some of you can help by writing Pfc. Rob Jacobs and letting him know what you think of his sacrifice and the sacrifices being made by all of those who serve the cause of freedom.

UPDATE: Perhaps Kunhardt might consider inviting any of those folks involved in this to his classroom:
During the harrowing day-long mission to recover the bodies of the Humvee's three occupants on Feb. 13, an Air Force firefighter also drowned. Five U.S. soldiers were treated for hypothermia. For five hours, three Navy SEAL divers searched the canal before their tanks ran out of oxygen.
What happened then, however, has transformed the relationship between the Iraqi soldiers and the skeptical Americans who train them. Using a tool they welded themselves that day at a cost of about $40, the Iraqis dredged the canal through the cold afternoon until the tan boot of Spec. Dakotah Gooding, 21, of Des Moines, appeared at the surface. The Iraqis then jumped into the water to pull him out, and went back again and again until they had recovered the last American. Then they stood atop the canal, shivering in the dark.
Kunhardt, in the slimmest of possibilities that you have Googled for your name and ended up here, invite one of these folks to your classroom and let them teach your students.
